Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at these Taylor Made 18 inch long bimini top aluminum slide assemblies. Now, these aluminum slide assemblies are going to allow you to easily fold your bimini top down behind your boat's rear seat for storage. And there's not gonna be any need to completely remove the top to put it down with these slide assemblies. The rustproof aluminum tracks are going to mount onto your boat's gunwales with the included hardware that you see here.
All you're going to do is attach your bimini support poles to the included nylon sliders with your standard deck hinges. Those hinges are sold separately. And of course, they are required to make this assembly work. They're required to attach to those included sliders. And so, then you're just going to slide these sliders into the tracks as I showed you here after that you have them installed onto your deck hinges and you're gonna be able to fold up your top.
The included end caps that you see here are going to cover the ends of each track to keep them from falling out. And then it's gonna be really a nice, professional looking install when you're done. A really classy look, I think. And let me pull out my tape measure here just to confirm some measurements with you. The actual length of that track, let me move these end caps over just a little bit so you can see that a little bit better, we are sitting right at 18 inches.
And then the overall width, we're sitting right at 7/8 of an inch. And the overall height, we're sitting at 3/8 of an inch.
